Q.
Who is your hero? How is he/she similar to Terry Fox?
A.
My hero is Daniella Czudner. She is similar to Terry Fox because they both had cancer and did something about it.
P.
Terry Fox is a special person to me and to many other people as well. He has done many great things and I know more amazing things about him after reading this article. This article told me that Terry Fox was diagnosed with cancer when he was only 18 years old. He decided to raise money by running across our country to increase people’s awareness about this terrible disease. Terry called his run the “marathon of hope”. Even though Terry died before he could finish his run across Canada, his dream came true because today so many people in so many countries take part in the annual Marathon of Hope. “Each year almost 2 million people in 50 countries take part in Terry Fox runs and raise about 22 million annually for cancer research.”
E.
Just like Terry Fox, Daniella had cancer. She doesn’t let that get her down. Every year she does fundraisers to raise money to help people with cancer. Terry did the marathon of hope and Daniella has a team called standing ovation. This is the name because she had ovarian cancer. This team does he walk of hope to raise money for ovarian cancer research. The team also makes bracelets to raise money for the hospital in Windsor. Some of the money was used to buy gongs at the hospital for people to bang after they finish their chemo. Terry and Daniella are both heroes who believe that “anything is possible if you try.”
Disney

My favorite place to go in the world is Disney. First of all, my favorite roller coaster ride is Expedition Mount Everest on the other hand i also love Tower of Terror. The reason why I love these rides are because they give me rush when I go on it. I also like the relaxing beaches it looks wonderful at sun sets. When I went I was sick so my mom took me to a hammock at a beach, (it was comfy.) Finally, I love the fireworks on the last night it was so extraordinary. I looked around and saw my families faces, I felt wonderful. And thats why this is my favorite place to go.
Word Study 2

I had a dream about being in the army. I was wearing my camouflage pants when I became mesmerized by a gigantic pumpkin. I tried to visualize the pumpkin as a tree and it felt like I was about to become unconscious as it multiplied before my eyes. I realized I didn’t take my vitamin in the morning so I was low on protein. As you know the army’s budget is low so we could not afford much. We were supposed to write a descriptive paragraph for the general about any dreams that we have. I was determined to hand it in first but I ended up getting my paper in second. Thank goodness I woke up from that dream.
