The R-Files: Excerpts From a Classroom

Below are some pictures of Classroom Activities we have done as of late.

Science:  Measuring Force with Spring Scales.  We discussed the force of gravity, and how to measure gravity.  We learned how to use a spring scale properly.  We had a blast!

Social Studies:  Instead of writing a test, we performed skits highlighting a day in the life of a habitant in New France.  They.  Were.  Hilarious!  They were also very rich in content and informative.  Awesome!

Life in New France

Habitant farmers had cows on their farms.

The habitant farmer married a "Fille de Roi"

Measuring force...hmmmm

Let's see..how many Newtons???

We are so happy learning!

I love Science!

Check it out!

The boys proceeded to get the Newton Scale stuck in my cup.

Hmmmmmmm...
